Monday – Saturday 7am to 9 pm (closed from 12-2pm for lunch)
All classes scheduled in 2 hour blocks/sessions.
2. Entry requirements
1. Having an A2 level
2. A filled out application form
3. Computer literacy (with proof)
4. A flash disk (for homework)
5. A ream
6. A quarterly pay slip of RWF 95,000 or a one month payslip of RWF45,000 with two granted checks . (Please read payment method and school fees note)
3. Laboratory Policy
· The IELS provides the Language Laboratory for students to do course work. Students found to be using the Language Laboratory facilities for purposes other than legitimate course work will be asked to leave the Laboratory.
· Students are not allowed to load personal software on computer hard drives. Personal software that can be run from a floppy disk or CD is not allowed on any machines.
· Computer games & chats are not allowed on the machines in the Language Laboratory. Students running games or playing songs will be asked to close the games & songs and leave the Language Laboratory.
· Students are required to speak English at all times while in class.
· Students are required to provide their own flash disks. The IELS does not provide students with blank disks.
· Students are not allowed to setup, and/or install files on the computers. Storing unauthorized software on the Laboratory computers is not allowed. Students are not authorized to plug/unplug cables from computers.
· Food and drink are not allowed in the Language Laboratory. Students with food or drink will be asked to leave the Laboratory.
· The use of cell phones in the Language Laboratory is prohibited. Cell phones must be on silent mode.
· Printing is permitted only upon prior approval.
· Do NOT turn off computers at any time.
Actions that constitute abuse of Language Laboratory computer Laboratory, equipment, or physical resources include:
· Engaging in behavior that impedes normal use of Laboratory or equipment.
· Using Language Laboratory resources for commercial or personal purposes.
· Failing to abide by posted Laboratory policies or the instructions of Language Laboratory facilitators.
· Attempting to tamper with, misuse, or illegitimately access equipment, hardware, software, or space.
